Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Abroad

Yale Study Abroad is committed to providing all students with advising and access to study abroad programs that fit their academic goals and personal needs. The diversity and interconnectedness of your identities, backgrounds, skills, and perspectives help to enrich learning environments on campus and abroad.

As you research your study abroad options, take time to consider how aspects of your identities might shape your summer, term, or year abroad and know that we are here to support you throughout your international experience. We encourage you to explore the resources below, meet with a study abroad adviser, and reach out to Yalies who have already studied abroad and have volunteered to share their stories with you.

Point: Yale Study Abroad has partnered with Diversity Abroad, an organization whose mission is "to create equitable access to the benefits of global education by empowering educators, engaging stakeholders, and connecting diverse students to resources and opportunity." Use your Yale email address to access Diversity Abroad's resources, advice, and global community.
