Outreach Coordinators

Pablo is a senior in Ezra Stiles College from North Las Vegas, Nevada, double-majoring in Physics (Intensive) and Film and Media Studies. After his first year, candlelit nights illuminated newfound interests in postmodernist film philosophy and immersive opera through the Columbia Summer in Venice program. During his sophomore summer, he conducted coral reef morphology research in the Mexican Caribbean before studying at the University of Sydney in the fall of his junior year. Travels across Australasia, including heli-hiking New Zealand’s temperate glaciers and scuba diving in Fiji’s soft coral capital, propelled his commitments to sustainable tourism and blue finance, while also transforming the places he visited into the real-world sets and with local casts of his debut nuclear anthology film series, "Pacific Time". Back on campus, Pablo works on the CUPID neutrino physics experiment in the Maruyama Lab, produces semesterly dance showcases for Yale’s Ballet Folklórico Mexicano, and writes for the Yale Scientific Magazine. Pablo hopes to guide students in thinking rigorously about program fit while embracing the vivid cultural and intellectual immersion that makes studying abroad highly transformative—oh, food tastings and music lessons are on him!

Julia is a junior in Grace Hopper College from Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. She is double- majoring in Political Science and French on a pre-law track. At Yale, Julia is co-Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Review of International Studies and an active member of the Yale French Club. Julia studied abroad twice in Paris, once with Yale Summer Session in Summer 2025 and with Academic Programs Abroad during the Spring 2026 semester. Classes she took abroad focused on philosophy, literature, and international politics, which inspired her to study international politics during her time at Yale. Julia is so excited to help students find study abroad opportunities that connect to their interests and academics.

Irene is a senior in Benjamin Franklin College from Fayetteville, Arkansas, majoring in History and Economics. She studied abroad in Morocco through the Yale Summer Session Society and Politics of North Africa program in Summer 2024 and most recently at Pembroke College, Cambridge in Spring 2026. Through both of these programs, she gained exposure to different cultures and deepened her historical knowledge and understanding. On campus, she has been involved with the Slifka Center, economic research, and was a PDLI fellow. She is very excited to connect students with study abroad opportunities to further their international education and experiences!
