The UVA in Shanghai Intensive Chinese Language Program is run by the faculty of the Chinese language program in the Department of East Asian Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Virginia and hosted by East China Normal University. This rigorous, demanding, and rewarding language program allows students to have first-hand experience in using Chinese in real world situations as well as studying and practicing it in the classroom.

In order to study abroad for credit, you must complete two applications. You will need to both apply to your program for admission (via the program website) and apply to Yale for approval to receive credit.
