The Pembroke-King’s Programme (PKP) offers an opportunity for undergraduates at universities around the world to experience Cambridge academic and student life over six weeks in the summer. Living in Pembroke or King’s Colleges, students choose three courses or "modules" from the fifty on offer, including courses in the arts, social sciences, humanities and sciences. Students may also apply to take a supervision, in which an individual student meets with a professor weekly to work on a series of research-based papers, or a longer paper, in the student’s major subject area.

Detailed information about this program, including courses, housing, and fees, is available on the program website.

In order to study abroad for credit, you must complete two applications. You will need to both apply to your program for admission (via the program website) and apply to Yale for approval to receive credit.

Program Website Apply for Credit

Please remember that, per Yale's credit transfer policy, students can only earn a maximum of two transfer credits for summer study abroad.  This means that, even though you will be taking 3 courses at the Pembroke-King's Summer Programme, our office can only transfer credit for two of them.

Early Application Recommended

Admission is rolling and the program normally fills well before the stated deadline; early application is strongly recommended. The application for the summer generally opens in October or November.
