Description

The CIEE Language & Culture program in Amman, Jordan is designed for students who have an interest in Jordan and the Middle East. Courses are offered in the areas of Arabic language, anthropology, history, economics, religion, environment, international relations, political science, and the media.

In order to study abroad for credit, you must complete two applications. You will need to both apply to your program for admission (via the program website) and apply to Yale for approval to receive credit.

CIEE Scholarship

As part of CIEE’s Academic Consortium, Yale’s study abroad office is able to nominate one student each semester to receive a $1000 scholarship to attend a CIEE semester program. Recipients of this scholarship will be required to organize one study abroad outreach event upon their return to campus. To learn more, review the application process and deadlines.
