Description

Option 1.) The CET Intensive Arabic Language summer program in Amman offers courses in both formal and informal Arabic. Language partners, local roommates and a language pledge ensure that students return home well versed in Arabic and its contexts. Excellent for students looking for an intensive Arabic option in the summer. If selecting this option, please choose "CET in Jordan: Intensive Arabic Language in Amman Summer" in Yale Compass.

Option 2.) The CET Jordan Research summer program offers the ability to conduct a directed research project. You commit to a full or limited language pledge and combine one Modern Standard Arabic course, one Jordanian Dialect course (dialect course in the research option can't transfer credit), and a research component. You must contact the Study Abroad Adviser for this program to receive Yale approval for your research topic. If selecting this option, please choose "CET in Jordan: Research in Amman Summer" in Yale Compass.
