Study Center
The Aquincum Institute of Technology (AIT) in Budapest: Computer and Data Science Program provides a unique English language study abroad experience designed for students with interests in computing and its applications. Many of our students are computer science, data science, and software engineering majors. However, we welcome all students with interests in those fields, regardless of their major. Applicants are expected to have (1) at least one college-level mathematics course at the level of calculus or higher and (2) at least one course that involves programming in any modern language. Applicants are encouraged to review the list of courses offered at AIT, as some require additional background. Students choose from AIT-Budapest's upper-level Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Design, Entrepreneurship, and Humanities offerings. Courses emphasize project-based learning, collaborative problem solving, and close faculty interaction. Yale requires students to also enroll in a Hungarian Language course while abroad.
