Meet with a Study Abroad Adviser

You are here

Advisers can help you identify goals for your study abroad experience and guide you through thoughtful program selection. Advisers can also clarify the application process, credit transfer, and financial aid, as well as provide pertinent pre-departure information. Advisers remain available to you before, during, and after your study abroad experience.

Study Abroad Forms

Question:Are you looking to have a form signed by a study abroad adviser? If the form can be completed electronically or scanned, please email it directly to your study abroad adviser (see below). If you have a paper form, you may either drop it off at the CIPE reception desk (55 Whitney Ave, 3rd Fl) or bring it to an advising meeting. You do not need to schedule an advising meeting solely to have a form completed.

Drop-In Hours (when classes are in session)

Advisers are available to answer quick questions during drop-in hours, which are held every Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. when classes are in session. No appointment is necessary. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis for a maximum of 15 minutes each.

Date:Drop-In Hours during the Fall 2019 term will be held on Fridays from August 30 through December 6.

No Drop-In Hours will be held on the following dates:

  • September 27
  • October 18
  • November 8
  • November 29

Schedule an Advising Meeting

Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes and take place during designated office hours when classes are in session. While each adviser specializes in specific locations, it is okay to schedule a meeting with any adviser if you have not yet identified where you would like to go. For more information about the advisers, visit Get to Know Our Staff.

Before meeting with an adviser, we encourage you to review Choosing a Program and attend an information session.
