We're Here for You
Yale Study Abroad staff are working in a hybrid schedule with some days in the office and some days remote. Regardless of our physical location, we remain committed as ever to supporting students as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Most advising hours and events will be held virtually until further notice; however, students may request to meet in person and we will do our best to accommodate these requests.
Visit the Study Abroad COVID-19 Updates page for the latest information and resources.
Advisers can help you identify goals for your study abroad experience and guide you through thoughtful program selection. Advisers can also clarify the application process, credit transfer, and financial aid, as well as provide pertinent pre-departure information. Advisers remain available to you before, during, and after your study abroad experience.
While each adviser specializes in specific locations, it is okay to schedule a meeting with any adviser if you have not yet identified where you would like to go. For more information about the advisers, visit Get to Know Our Staff.
Advisers offer two meeting options:
Before meeting with an adviser, we encourage you to review the Get Started section of our website.
Summer Advising
Yale Study Abroad remains open during the summer. We would be happy to meet with you to discuss your study abroad plans! Please email us to arrange a Zoom appointment based on your availability. We will match you with a relevant adviser.
If, after reviewing the adviser’s availability through the Meet with an Adviser link above, you cannot find a time that works with your schedule, please email directly the adviser with whom you would like to meet in order to schedule an appointment.
If you have not yet identified a study abroad location, you can choose to meet with Allie Agati, Susan Evans, Kelly McLaughlin, or Kathy Trputec for general advising.
