Advising Sessions

Advisers can help you identify goals for your study abroad experience and guide you through thoughtful program selection. Advisers can also clarify the application process, credit transfer, and financial aid, as well as provide pertinent pre-departure information. Advisers remain available to you before, during, and after your study abroad experience.

Note: Before meeting with a study abroad adviser, we recommend you watch our Study Abroad 101 webinar. In this webinar, advisers provide an overview of your term-time and summer study abroad options. They also discuss application processes and timelines, credit transfer, funding opportunities, planning tips, and helpful resources.

To view this CAS protected webinar, sign in with "SSO" on the Zoom page.

Schedule a Meeting

While each adviser specializes in specific locations (listed above), it is okay to schedule a meeting with any adviser if you have not yet identified where you would like to go. For more information about the advisers, visit Get to Know Our Staff.

Advisers offer two meeting options:

  • 15-Minute Quick Question Zoom Meetings: These short sessions are great if you have brief, specific questions for an adviser.
  • 30-Minute Advising Appointments (Available in person or by Zoom): These sessions are intended to allow time for a more in-depth meeting.

When you click the button below you will be taken to a separate interface to make an appointment. Be sure to select Study Abroad as your initial Topic. If, after reviewing the adviser’s availability, you cannot find a time that works with your schedule, please email the adviser directly to schedule an appointment.
