Description

The Swedish Program at the Stockholm School of Economics is committed to challenging its students intellectually and culturally. Students have access to a full range of liberal arts courses. They also have access to all the activities, clubs, sports teams, and events organized by the Student Association (SASSE) at the Stockholm School of Economics. SASSE is considered one of the most active student associations in all of Europe. In addition, SSE students can enroll in a select number of Swedish Program courses, and Program students can enroll directly in a select number of SSE courses, giving you the opportunity to share the classroom with Swedish and other international students.

Two-Part Application Process

Applying to a Year or Term Abroad or a Non-Yale Summer Abroad study abroad program is a two-part process. These are separate application processes with individual deadlines and can be done simultaneously.

  1. You must apply to your intended program for admission by applying online from the program’s website. Select the Program Website button below to be directed to more information.
  2. You must apply to Yale Study Abroad for approval to study abroad and the ability to transfer the credit back to your Yale degree. The designated list of programs on our website does not constitute pre-approval or automatic approval from Yale. You must apply to our office by the relevant deadline in order to be approved. The Swedish Women’s Educational Association (SWEA) is a non-profit global organization dedicated to the promotion of Swedish culture. The SWEA Boston Chapter offers an annual scholarship of $12,000 to one or more well-merited female undergraduate or graduate students at a New England university who wish to pursue studies in Sweden for at least one semester.  This is an outside funding opportunity.  If you have any questions about it, please contact scholarship@sweaboston.org
