Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), SACI offers a wide range of innovative, hands-on programs in traditional and contemporary studio arts, design, conservation, art history, and Italian language and culture. SACI offers summer programs both in Florence and in Venice. Students can choose from the following programs:

  • Summer I in Florence (5 weeks)
  • Summer II in Florence (4 weeks)
  • Summer in Venice (4 weeks)

You can also choose to combine 2 of the above sessions to enroll in SACI's Full Summer Program: Florence (10 weeks) or Full Summer Program: Florence + Venice (10 weeks). Per Yale's credit transfer policy, students can only earn a maximum of two transfer credits for summer study abroad. This means that, even though you will be taking 4 courses on the SACI Full Summer Programs, our office can only transfer credit for two of them. If you are eligible for the International Summer Award (ISA) and would like to use it for either of the Full Summer Programs, you must be approved for 1 transfer credit for each of the 2 sessions.
