Description

The CIEE Arts & Sciences program in Hyderabad is designed for students with a desire to understand the complexities and paradoxes of the world's largest democracy. The academic program offers students a combination of specially designed courses organized by the Study in India Program (SIP) at the University of Hyderabad. The SIP provides international students the opportunity to study various aspects of Indian society, history, and culture. In addition, students can enroll in carefully selected regular university courses in history, literature, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, political science, economics, math, and computer science.

In order to study abroad for credit, you must complete two applications. You will need to both apply to your program for admission (via the program website) and apply to Yale for approval to receive credit.

CIEE Scholarship

As part of CIEE’s Academic Consortium, Yale’s study abroad office is able to nominate one student each semester to receive a $1000 scholarship to attend a CIEE semester program. Recipients of this scholarship will be required to organize one study abroad outreach event upon their return to campus. To learn more, review the application process and deadlines.
