ARBC 120 (Elementary Modern Standard Arabic II) or equivalent proficiency.
A program for second-year language students involving all four language skills; designed to improve students’ proficiency in aural and reading comprehension as well as in speaking and writing. Aims to develop a strong understanding of the linguistic features of the Arabic language with emphasis on comprehensive communication skills.

A welcome dinner and tour of Rabat is scheduled at the begining of the program. Students also will have the opportunity to participate in a range of cultural immersion activities - including cooking, calligraphy, dance and music sessions - in addition to hearing lectures from local experts. The program includes excursions to the south (Ifrane-Errachidia-Merzouga) and north (Tangier-Tetouan-Chefchaoun) of Morocco as well as visits to well-known cities, including Fes, Casablanca, and Marrackech.
Students will be housed with homestay families; breakfast and dinners are included each day. Lunch will be served Monday-Friday at the school, Qalam wa Lawh.
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements; additional information will be provided upon admission.
