ARBC 140 (Intermediate Modern Standard Arabic II) or equivalent proficiency.
An accelerated language program, which includes readings, composition exercises, review of Arabic grammar, listening skills, and conversation practice in standard Arabic. Concentration is placed on idiomatic expressions, vocabulary acquisition, in addition to focusing on reading and listening to extended passages.

A welcome dinner and tour of Rabat is scheduled at the begining of the program. Students also will have the opportunity to participate in a range of cultural immersion activities - including cooking, calligraphy, dance and music sessions - in addition to hearing lectures from local experts. The program includes excursions to the south (Ifrane-Errachidia-Merzouga) and north (Tangier-Tetouan-Chefchaoun) of Morocco as well as visits to well-known cities, including Fes, Casablanca, and Marrackech.
Students will be housed with homestay families; breakfast and dinners are included each day. Lunch will be served Monday-Friday at the school, Qalam wa Lawh.
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements; additional information will be provided upon admission.
